MoreAdaptBSB
Building climate-resilient communities through innovation, cooperation and Nature-based Solutions.
Introduction / About MoreAdaptBSB
Climate change is increasingly affecting coastal and urban areas across the Black Sea Basin, exposing communities to rising temperatures, flooding, biodiversity loss, environmental degradation and new risks for public spaces and ecosystems.
MoreAdaptBSB brings together partners from Romania, Greece, Bulgaria and Ukraine to develop and demonstrate innovative approaches for the restoration of urban and coastal green spaces.
Through the use of Nature-based Solutions and remote sensing technologies, the project supports local authorities, researchers and communities in better understanding environmental vulnerability and strengthening climate adaptation.
By combining scientific knowledge, digital tools, pilot actions and transnational cooperation, MoreAdaptBSB aims to create practical solutions that can be tested, monitored, shared and replicated across the region.
